I am currently attending a University with 30,000 other students. Yesterday my professor told us the key to success and happiness is to have a passion for life. I looked around my classroom at my peers and thought about people in my life and began to wonder, "How many people in the world really are happy and have a passion for life?"
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I am grateful to know that my Heavenly Father loves me and truly desires for me to be happy. In 2 Nephi 2:25 it says, "Adam fell that men might be, and men are that they might have joy."
In The Family: A Proclamation to the World it states: "The divine plan of happiness enables family relationships to be perpetuated beyond the grave. Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally."
Knowing this gives my life purpose thus giving me a passion for life. I am grateful to know who I am, who I can become, and that I can someday live with God and my family forever.
