I love fall. The colors are so vibrant and beautiful. Michael and I recently took some time to go for a walk and enjoy this beautiful time of year and to really observe God’s wonderful creations that can be so easily overlooked. President Uchtdorf recently stated in General Conference, “There is a beauty and clarity that comes from simplicity that we sometimes do not appreciate in our thirst for intricate solutions.
If life and its rushed pace and many stresses have made it difficult for you to feel like rejoicing, then perhaps now is a good time to refocus on what matters most. Let us simplify our lives a little. Let us make the changes necessary to refocus our lives on the sublime beauty of the simple, humble path of Christian discipleship—the path that leads always toward a life of meaning, gladness, and peace.”
I know that by simplifying and recognizing God in our lives as well as all the things that He has created for us with that it will truly bring peace and meaning into our lives.
